What to expect: The 13-acre resort is located near the Denver Tech Center office complex, 15 miles southeast of downtown Denver. As such, it caters to the corporate crowd during the week, with vacationers and wedding parties filling the hotel’s rooms during the weekend. The resort’s Scandinavian design—its corridors unfold on either side of the atrium lobby—leads to lots of walking from one area to the next. Amenity highlights: Golfers love the 18-hole PGA golf course, pro shop, and 19th Hole bar. Couples like the lush green grounds with gazebo and gardens—ideal spots for wedding photos and receptions. The Fireside Lounge is good for after-work drinks, while romantic meals are served at The Swan, and the Garden Terrace packs in patrons—lots of locals among them—for its elaborate Sunday brunch. Corporate travelers appreciate the full-service business center. Insider tip: The Garden Terrace hosts a must-sample Sunday brunch. The sumptuous spread includes 100 family favorites—made-to-order omelets, Belgian waffles, pancakes, eggs Benedict, blintzes, quiche, and fresh pastries among them.
